A cracking trio will be heading your way this September!
Stanley Brinks will play with the Wave Pictures as is backing band & Freschard will do a set with them, to open the evening.
Stanley Brinks has several albums under his belt sharing lead vocals, guitar playing and songwriting with his brother David in the band Herman Düne. Owning a lot of great support from John Peel, Parisian born Brinks has recorded over 100 albums, collaborated with the New York Antifolk scene on several occasions, recorded and toured with traditional musicians.
The Wave Pictures will be playing alongside Stanley Brinks and Freschard. Formed in 1998 the band began to play together covering Jonathan Richmond songs before David Tattersall began writing lots of original material. With five studio albums to date and numerous sessions played on BBC 6 Music, Radio 1 and XFM the interest generated by these recordings have enabled The Wave Pictures to play shows all over the world. And last but by no means least we have Freschard on the bill.
From French pie and cake maker to talented musician, Freschard was written a few songs by Stanley Brinks to sing. A ticket to New York led her to an old electric guitar which led to Freschard writing her own songs. In 2004 she moved to Berlin and now has 4 albums under her belt.
