What is it?
An opportunity for music practitioners from a range of backgrounds to come together to share experiences, discuss issues, successful approaches and generally share practice in a relaxed environment hosted by Musinc.
Who is it for?
Music Educators who work with children, young people or adults; we welcome existing or emerging community musicians, music leaders, school based and peripatetic music teachers, community based band and choir leaders.
For our first networking event we are pleased to welcome Dr. Martyn Hudson, Senior Lecturer on Creative and Cultural Industries Management at Northumbria University. Martyn will be discussing “Musical Engagement with Communities of Refuge” including work with Mongrel UK/Sage Gateshead and Music Action International.
